Three company drivers—Muideen Oladokun, 41; Najeem Adedeji, 35; and Kehinde Tijani, 65—were arraigned on Friday before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan over an alleged theft of diesel and petrol.
The three, who work with Krishat Pharma Company in Oluyole, Ibadan, were charged with conspiracy and stealing, to which they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Olagoke Adegbenro, said the defendants committed the offences between December 2025 and July 2026 at the aforementioned company.
He alleged that the defendants stole 1,350 litres of diesel valued at N2,160,000 and 566 litres of petrol valued at N734,600, all belonging to the company.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The magistrate, Olasinmibo Sanusi, granted the defendants bail of N1 million each and two sureties each in like sum.
She adjourned the case until September 9 for a hearing.
