Please help me, don’t let me die, veteran actress Ngozi Nwosu again appeals to Nigerians from hospital bed
Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has appealed to Nigerians for financial support as she battles an undisclosed health condition.
In a video on her Instagram page on Thursday, the actress disclosed that she had been admitted for three weeks, adding she was in a severe pain.
“My people, fans and family, I know you have not seen me in circulation for some time. I have been hospitalised now for three weeks. Please the thing has gone beyond my control. I need your help, don’t let me die. I know that you people never forsake me and I know God will always see me through,” Ms Nwosu stated.
The actress added that she needed financial support to undergo three surgeries.
“Because I am going through a lot in pain. I have three surgeries to go through with. Please, don’t let me die. If there is anything you want to do for me, please contact my management. Thank you and God bless. My sickness will never be anybody’s portion in Jesus name,” she added.
Though the actress did not disclose the nature of her ailment, this was not the first time she would publicly appeal for financial support over health condition.
In 2012, the actress was diagnosed with kidney related complications and a heart condition and publicly sought financial assistance for treatment abroad.
The former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, donated N4.5 million towards the surgery and the actress was subsequently flown to the United Kingdom for treatment.
Ms Nwosu in later interviews acknowledged the Lagos State government and Nigerians who came through for her during the period.
