The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has declared Ronald Scott Watson wanted for his involvement in the attack on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials in Atlanta, Georgia, offering a $10,000 reward for whoever provides information that leads to his arrest and prosecution.

In a statement on Saturday, the FBI said it is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of Mr Watson. 

Mr Watson, who has ties to Portland, Oregon, and Atlanta, Georgia, “is a convicted felon wanted for his alleged involvement in the attack on the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) building located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, during the summer of 2020,” the FBI said. 

The FBI explained that “On July 25, 2020, shortly before midnight, a crowd gathered at the Atlanta ICE building and protested outside a fenced area.  At the same time, several masked individuals wearing dark clothing breached the fences and vandalised the building.” 

According to the FBI, the rioters used rocks, cinder blocks, modified fireworks, Molotov cocktails, lighter fluid bottles, and other materials to cause more than $78,000 in damage.

It added that Mr Watson has been identified as allegedly being part of this group.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Mr Watson on July 23, 2025, in the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta, Georgia.

Mr Watson was charged with maliciously damaging and attempting to damage, by means of fire or an explosive, a building and other personal and real property, in whole or in part owned and possessed by, and leased to, the United States, the FBI said.
