40-year-old woman killed, nine injured in fresh Russian drone strikes against Ukraine

A 40-year-old woman was killed and nine others, including two children were injured in a Russian drone attack on residential buildings in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
In a post on X on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said the attack targeted residential buildings in Kharkiv.
“All the necessary emergency services have been deployed at the site of an attack drone strike on residential buildings in Kharkiv.
“Tragically, one person was killed, and nine others were injured, including two children,” Mr Zelenskyy’s post read.
He noted that police, medics, and emergency crews were searching the site for possible additional victims, adding that rescue operations were underway.
Mr Zelenskyy also said Russia launched eight missiles and 136 drones of various types against Ukraine on Saturday, adding that several were shot down.
“The Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Chernihiv regions, as well as Kyiv, came under attack. The capital was struck by ballistic missiles, and three people were injured,” he said.
