The Kano government has approved the appointment of 19 new permanent secretaries and redeployed 14 serving ones across ministries, departments and agencies in the state civil service.

The head of the civil service, Bilkisu Shehu-Maimota, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday. According to the statement, the appointment is a call to greater responsibility and selfless service.

‎It directed all affected permanent secretaries to work closely with their respective MDAs to advance the government’s development agenda and improve service delivery.
