Afrobeats singer, Rema, has dropped his first solo single of 2026, titled “TEA”.

Rema released the single on Friday, accompanied by an official music video.

“TEA” was produced by American record producer Mustard, alongside Rema’s frequent collaborator, London.

The song features heavy log drums, a hypnotic high-pitched chorus and an infectious rhythm, with Rema celebrating feminine beauty and curves.

The release kicks off the rollout for Rema’s highly anticipated third studio album.

The singer has confirmed the project is finished and is expected later in the year.

The single is released under Mavin Records and Jonzing World, with distribution by Interscope Records.

“TEA” follows Rema’s earlier solo and collaborative releases including “Baby (Is It a Crime)” and “Bout U”.

It also comes after the critical and commercial success of his 2024 album, “Heis”, which earned him his first Grammy nomination.

Rema rose to global prominence with his 2022 hit song, “Calm Down”, and its remix featuring American singer Selena Gomez.

The singer has continued to build his international profile by blending Afrobeats with elements of R&B and dancehall.
