MTN Nigeria marks 25 years

MTN Nigeria, a leading telecommunications company, is celebrating 25 years of operations in Nigeria, reflecting on its journey of connecting millions of Nigerians.
The company announced the milestone in a post on its verified X account, with a campaign tagged: “We’ve Come A Long Way.”
MTN said the campaign celebrates the “millions of stories lived, shared, and connected through one network,” highlighting the role of its network in the lives of Nigerians.
The telecommunications giant also released a video accompanying the anniversary message, showcasing a city at night and a glowing road forming the shape of the number 25.
MTN Nigeria commenced commercial operations in Nigeria in 2001 and has since expanded its telecommunications services across the country.
Over the past 25 years, the company has played a significant role in the growth of mobile telecommunications and digital connectivity in Nigeria.
The anniversary comes as the telecommunications sector continues to support communication, businesses and access to digital services across the country.
