I will unseat Adeleke, boasts APC’s Oyebamiji

The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence to defeat incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party.
Mr Oyebamiji, spoke with journalists shortly after voting at Ward 9, Polling Unit 011, Gantry Area, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area of the state.
“I believe the election will be credible, and I am confident that I will win this election at the end of the day,” Mr Oyebamiji said.
Fifteen political parties are participating in the election viewed by observers as a three-horse race consisting incumbent Governor Adeleke of Accord Party, main Mr Oyebamiji and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress.
Voters across Osun State are already casting their votes to elect their governor for the next four years.
The Independent National Electoral Commission said it distributed 1.9 million Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to registered voters ahead of the election.
