Gov. Mbah appoints 23 new SAs, SSAs

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State has approved the appointment of 23 persons as special advisers (SAs) and senior special assistants (SSAs) to the state government.
The appointment is contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Chidiebere Onyia, on Wednesday in Enugu.
According to the statement, Chukwudi Ezinwa was appointed special adviser on labour union and association matters, while Sunday Nnamani (Orlando) was appointed special adviser on special duties.
Others appointed as special advisers were Williams Chukwu, agriculture; Afam Agana, infrastructure compliance; Humphrey Onyima, investment strategy and public relations and Tony Ugwu, rural development.
Also appointed as special advisers were Ernest Nweze, party coordination and mobilisation; Emeka Onunze, monitoring and evaluation and Robinson Odo, labour and productivity.
The governor also approved the appointment of 14 SSAs.
They include Kenneth Asogwa, heritage and community relations; Tochukwu Ogbodo, social engagement; Lucky Chukwu, public affairs; Belonwu Nnaji, cultural orientation and Steve Odo, tourism.
Others were Francis Ede, public communications; Sunny Okafor, general duties; Chinedu Otaka, social orientation and mobilisation; Otaba Ikechukwu, protection of public utilities and Pius Okeagu, assets management.
Other appointees were Innocent Ugwu, inter-party affairs; Eucharia Offor, human resource management; Kenneth Oforma, policy and communication and Kelvin Ede, research and strategy.
Mr Onyia said the appointments take immediate effect.
