2027: APC reopens electronic membership registration Monday
The All Progressive Congress (APC) says it will reopen the party’s membership electronic registration on Monday ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The APC made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday by its spokesman, Felix Morka.
Mr Morka stated, “We invite all party stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to participate in the APC Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise. The exercise will be conducted in all wards nationwide.”
He stated that existing members were expected to validate their membership, encouraging new and intending members to register and join the APC.
Mr Morka said the registrants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
He noted that the e-registration was designed to digitise the party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records, enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions.
He added that the exercise was to promote internal democracy, and strengthen the party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
