The global president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin, has directed state chapters to hold special prayer session during their next state meeting

The directive followed the death of one of TAMPAN members and veteran actor, Hassan Taiwo, popularly called Ogogo.

Recall that the actor died on Sunday after battling stage four cancer. He was buried on Monday in his hometown in Ilaro, Ogun State.

Mr Amusan in a statement on Wednesday said, “Following the recent passing of our beloved colleague, Ogogo, all state chapters are hereby directed to include a special prayer session in their next state meeting.

“The prayer should focus on seeking God’s face, forgiveness of our sins, His protection over the living, and preservation of our members from death, sickness and destruction. We should also pray for the forgiveness and peaceful repose of our departed colleagues. All state governors are kindly requested to ensure compliance.”

He also prayed for God’s protection over the members, forgiveness of their sins, and to grant the departed eternal rest.
