Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have returned to the United Kingdom after spending six years in the United States of America.

According to the BBC, the royals landed in the country privately from California on Wednesday at Birmingham Airport, as their children are expected to start schooling in the UK in September.

The family will reside outside London, with no plans for the royals to return to their royal duties.

Before their relocation, the family visited the ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales in July, where they spent a part of their summer holidays.

Their return marks a six-year return since the couple relocated from the UK, stepped away from their royal duties, and settled in Montecito, California, where their daughter Lilibet was born.

However, reports also suggest Princess Meghan will continue her lifestyle and gourmet food company,  As Ever,  while there is also speculation that she could also return to acting, with reports tying her to an appearance in the second season of Netflix drama series, “The Gentlemen.”
