Manchester United are set to take on Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid, with Spanish Champions Barcelona to clash with PSG and Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League phase draw.

UEFA announced the 36-team league phase draw on Thursday, as Manchester United return to the league after a two-year absence and will face Bayern Munich again after being knocked out by the German side.

The Red Devils will also face Atletico Madrid, Roma, Sporting CP, RB Leipzig, Villarreal, Como and newcomers Sabah.

Barcelona will face defending champions PSG; the Spanish champions will also take on Manchester City, Sporting CP, Galatasaray, Feyenoord, Como, Sabah and Europa League champions Aston Villa.

Real Madrid’s journey in the league phase begins with a clash against Inter Milan before they face defending Premier League champions Arsenal, PSV Eindhoven, Roma, RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk, LASK and AEK Athens.

The league phase of the 2026/2027 UEFA Champions League will run from September 8, 2026, to January 27, 2027, with the knockout stages beginning on February 16 and running until May 5, 2027, before the final at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid on June 5, 2027.
