LaLiga: Madrid maintain perfect start with 4-0 win over Malaga

Real Madrid thrashed newly promoted Malaga 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday to maintain a perfect start to the LaLiga season.
Midfielder Jude Bellingham opened the scoring for Jose Mourinho’s men in the 19th minute. The England international collected a loose ball near the opponents’ box and superbly took out three Malaga defenders before firing past the Malaga goalkeeper.
Bellingham was again involved in Real Madrid’s second goal seven minutes later. Mbappe’s effort on goal was parried by Herrero, only for Bellingham to head the rebound towards goal, leaving the Malaga goalkeeper and a defender colliding as the ball ended up in the net.
Kylian Mbappe scored the third for Real Madrid in the 30 minute, when he converted Alexander-Arnold’s cross with a fine volley from the centre of the box.
Substitute Arder Guler completed the rout late on with a fine finish from Vinicius Jr’s pass, ending a move he started.
The victory means Real Madrid now have nine points from three matches, two clear of Atletico Madrid and Alaves.
Rival Barcelona, fourth on six points with a game in hand, will host Rayo Vallecano on Monday.
Real Madrid return to action on Friday with a LaLiga trip to Seville to face Real Betis before kicking off their Champions League campaign a few days later at home against Inter Milan.
