Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion have announced the signing of Nigerian international Femi Azeez from Millwall on the transfer window deadline day.

The club confirmed the deal in a statement on Wednesday, stating that both Brighton and Millwall submitted the necessary documents just before the window closed at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday to finalise the transfer.

Brighton said Azeez signed a four-year deal with the club, with the transfer fee reported to be around £15 million.

“We are pleased to confirm the signing of Nigerian international winger Femi Azeez from Millwall on a four-year contract, for undisclosed terms.

“The two clubs submitted a deal sheet ahead of the 11 pm deadline last night, to extend the deadline until 1 am this morning, and concluded the deal ahead of the extended deadline,” the club said.

The 25-year-old made 77 appearances for Millwall, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists. He was named in both the PFA and the EFL’s Championship teams of the season for the 2025/26 campaign as he helped Millwall reach the Championship playoffs.

Born in the United Kingdom to a Nigerian father and Spanish mother, Azeez made his Super Eagles debut in June this year against Zimbabwe.
