Ukraine targets Russian oil facilities in fresh strikes

Ukrainian forces have struck oil industry facilities in Russia’s Saratov and Volgograd regions, following the ongoing war between the two countries.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed this on Friday on X.
“Good results from our long-range strikes aimed at reducing Russia’s capacity to wage war. An enterprise and an oil industry facility were hit in the Saratov and Volgograd regions. There are results in the Black Sea,” he said.
Mr Zelenskyy said his country’s long-range strikes hit targets in several regions of Russia.
“Ukrainian long-range sanctions were also applied against targets in Dagestan, Udmurtia, and the Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, and Samara regions. Thank you to everyone who is developing Ukraine’s strength so that there will be no safe havens left in Russia for anything that supports the war,” he added.
