Russian drone strike kills four, injures seven in Kyiv
At least four persons have been killed and seven others injured during a Russian drone strike on an office building in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the incident on Friday, stating that among the injured victims included a child.
“As of now, four people have already been reported killed as a result of a Russian drone strike on an office building in Kyiv. My condolences to their families and loved one”, he said
He stated that seven more people were injured, including a child.
“I thank all of our emergency services, which always respond quickly to help people after Russian attacks,” Mr Zelenskyy said.
According to him, there were also drone strikes today on a warehouse used by McDonald’s, adding that the attack drone – against ordinary food products.
Mr Zelenskyy said Russians are constantly expanding their escalation operation, noting that American and other businesses, data centers, internet providers for Russia, ordinary life in and of itself is simply a target.
He stressed that all of this undermined people’s ability to stay connected, study, and work.
