Customer Service Week: FRSC Kaduna seeks stronger partnership with road users

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kaduna sector command, has called for stronger partnership with road users and stakeholders to promote safer roads in the state.
The sector command made the call while joining the global community to commemorate the 2026 International Customer Service Week, themed “The Extra Mile”.
The command said the celebration was aimed at appreciating personnel for their commitment to excellent service delivery and strengthening engagement with members of the public and stakeholders.
The command in a statement on Monday in Kaduna signed by Usman Garba, Staff Officer, Public Enlightenment/Public Relations, said the occasion also reaffirmed FRSC’s commitment to responsive, professional and people-oriented services.
It said the corps marshal appreciated officers and marshals for their dedication, professionalism and sacrifices in the discharge of their responsibilities.
According to the statement, the corps marshal commended personnel for consistently going “The Extra Mile” in serving Nigerians, stressing that effective customer service was an essential component of the corps’ mandate.
He urged officers and marshals to demonstrate courtesy, patience, empathy, professionalism and responsiveness in their interactions with road users and other stakeholders.
The corps marshal also encouraged personnel to regard every interaction with members of the public as an opportunity to build confidence in the corps and contribute to safer roads and improved road transportation.
The statement said the Kaduna sector command had lined up activities to mark the week, including a press conference, stakeholders’ forum, road show, and television and radio interactive programmes.
It said the activities were designed to promote public engagement, sensitise road users on safety, receive feedback and strengthen collaboration with stakeholders.
The command would also recognise deserving staff and stakeholders for exceptional commitment, professionalism, support and contributions to road safety and effective service delivery.
The sector commander, Andrew Longkam, reiterated the command’s commitment to the corps’ customer service objectives.
Mr Longkam urged personnel to internalise the spirit of “The Extra Mile” by consistently exceeding expectations in the discharge of their duties.
He appreciated stakeholders and members of the public for their support and cooperation and called for continued partnership towards achieving safer roads in Kaduna State.
The commander assured the public of the command’s renewed commitment to professionalism, visibility and improved service delivery, with the needs and safety of road users at the centre of its operations.
The FRSC remains committed to going the extra mile in saving lives, preventing road traffic crashes and making Nigerian roads safer for all.
