Bayelsa: APC group takes Tinubu’s re-election sesitisation to Nembe, Brass

An All Progressives Congress (APC) group, Believers Family, has embarked on a two-day tour of communities in Brass and Nembe Local Government Areas of Bayelsa to seek support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
Sam Sam, a businessman and grassroots politician, led the group to Agrisaba, Ikensi, Okoroba, Oluasiri, Obioku, Okoroma, Ewelesuo, Nembe Creek, Fantuo and Odioma communities.
The team used the visits to mobilise support for Mr Tinubu’s re-election bid, and sensitise residents ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the tour, Mr Sam said that Mr Tinubu deserved a second term because of his administration’s interventions in the Niger Delta region.
“This exercise is purely to sensitise our people in the rural areas to the need to support and re-elect Tinubu.
“We are here to tell our people the reason they should stand with the president during the election,” he said.
Mr Sam said that the Tinubu-led government, through the Niger Delta Development Commission, had implemented several projects in rural communities across Nembe and Brass.
According to him, the impacts of the projects are visible in several rural communities in Bayelsa.
Mr Sam commended Governor Douye Diri for taking deliberate steps to evolve policies that had improved the well-being of Bayelsa people.
“The governor’s performance has further increased the chances of Tinubu and the APC in Bayelsa,” he said.
Mr Sam urged eligible voters in the communities to obtain their permanent voter cards and participate actively in the 2027 presidential election.
Also speaking, a former APC chairman in Bayelsa, Dennis Otiotio, said that the APC Believers Family embarked on the tour to engage communities ahead of the commencement of campaigns.
Mr Otiotio said that the essence was to seek the commitment of residents to support the APC and its candidates in the 2027 elections.
“We have just concluded a tour of communities in Brass and Nembe. Our message is simple: let us support APC,” he said.
