Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis faces life in prison for Tupac Shakur’s murder

Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis, a former gang leader convicted of plotting the killing of late rap star Tupac Shakur, will be sentenced on Tuesday (today).
Keffe D, 63, was found guilty of first-degree murder of Tupac on August 31, 30 years after the rapper was killed in Las Vegas.
In September, a jury in Clark County, Nevada, found Keffe D guilty of one count of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon after about three hours of deliberation in a trial that ran for 11 days.
Keffe D faces life imprisonment without parole. He is the first to be sentenced since the incident.
The late rap star was shot four times and later died in the hospital after six days; all other men in the Cadillac with Davis that night have died since.
The judgement is coming after three decades since the late Shakur was killed in the passenger seat; both men were in Las Vegas on September 7 1996, to see a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon.
