NEMA treats two women injured at APC campaign inauguration in Kaduna

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Saturday treated two women who were injured during the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Kaduna.
The women sustained injuries at the crowded Kaduna Township Stadium, also known as Ranchers Bees Stadium.
One of the victims sustained a leg fracture and was given first aid by NEMA’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) before being evacuated to Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital for further medical attention.
The second victim, who sustained a minor injury, was treated at the venue and continued participating in the event.
The ERT, led by the Head of Operations, Halima Sulaiman, was supported by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and other emergency response stakeholders deployed to the venue.
The deployment was aimed at ensuring emergency preparedness and prompt response to medical incidents during the gathering.
The intervention highlighted NEMA’s role in providing emergency assistance and safeguarding lives during major public events.
