Arsenal move level with Man City after 2-0 win over Everton

Arsenal have moved level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table following a 2-0 victory over Everton at the Emirates Stadium, extending their unbeaten run across all competitions to five matches.
Defender Ezri Konsa opened the scoring for Arsenal in the seventh minute, firing home a pass by Viktor Gyokores from close range to score his first goal for the Gunners since his move from Aston Villa in the summer.
Neither of the two teams were able to score again despite multiple attempts until the 68th minute when Gabriel headed home a cross into the box by Ben White to double the advantage, which secured the victory for the Gunners.
Arsenal’s victory took them level with Manchester City on 21 points in the Premier League table, with the Gunners sitting second on goal difference.
City had earlier suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa, their first league loss of the season after eight matches, allowing Arsenal to close the gap at the top.
Meanwhile, Fulham, on the road, defeated Coventry in the other match at the Coventry Building Society Arena, with Oscar Bobb scoring the winning goal in the 80th minute of the match.
