Elon Musk accuses Ukraine of using Starlink’s drone strikes to kill people

SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk, on Saturday. accused Ukraine’s military of violating Starlink’s terms of service by using its drone strikes to kill people.
Mr Musk made the allegation in a statement on X, on Saturday, following the disclosure by the Ukrainian government that access to the service had been restored.
Mr Musk said, “Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
“Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.”
Stressing that Starlink remains critical to the defence of Ukraine, by being the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, “at least for now,” Mr Musk noted that if Starlink was turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse.
“This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact,” Mr Musk stated.
He added that Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
He stated that SpaceX had done more to defend Ukraine “than any private company on earth by far.”
Expressing contempt for “virtue-signaling evil warmongers” pushing for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict,” he prayed that they “burn in hell.”
However, Mr Zelensky’s adviser, Serhiy Beskrestnov, denied the accusation, explaining that speed restrictions and the service’s unavailability over Russian territory, made Ukraine “physically unable to use commercial Starlink” to launch strikes into Russia.
