GOTW: TuFace apologises; Kpokpogri-Tonto Dike’s nude saga; BBNaija weekly recap

• September 19, 2021

Barely a week after the entertainment industry witnessed an embarrassing celebrity couple bust up between Annie Idibia and her husband, TuFace, the latter has now moved to resolve the issue by publicly apologising to his wife on his birthday.

The ‘African Queen’ crooner, who recently turned 46, took an adorable picture of himself and his wife to his verified Instagram page as he penned down a heartwarming message.

“I know I’m not without mistakes neither am I perfect but we keep learning and working and striving to become the best version of ourselves. It is well. Happy new year to me, may the almighty guide all of us and protect our homes,” he wrote.

In return, Annie posted a throwback picture of herself alongside her husband as she captioned “Happy birthday to ‘a guy’, My mine.”

This comes after Annie vowed to “scatter everything” following her husband’s sneaky disappearance to see his ex-lover Pero Adeniyi in the U.S. on September 8, 2021.

Fans initially speculated that the couple may be getting a divorce following the unending online family brawl and amidst Annie’s claims of infidelity on the part of TuFace.

However, it seems like the couple now rekindled their spark and decided to move forward regardless.

Another celebrity couple Tonto Dike and her now estranged lover Prince Kpokpogri continue to embark their messy breakup journey as Tonto now claims Kpokpogri has threatened to release her nude pictures to public glare.

She caused her lawyers to petition the police on the allegation.

“Our client now has reasons and evidence to believe that Joseph Kpokpogri has planted closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV Cameras) at private areas of his residence, and had stage-managed those visits with the aim of blackmailing our client.

“She was surprised when sometime in August 2021, the suspect started demanding money from her and threatening to expose nude pictures and other such documents relating to her,” a petition issued by Tonto Dike’s legal reads.

The duo’s three months relationship came to a halt following a very lousy breakup after a defamatory voice note from Kpokpogri leaked on the blogs.

Both parties have accused one another of being unfaithful during the time of their relationship.

Moving forward,  Tonto has asked Kpokpogri to return the gifts she gave him during their relationship, including a bar and new car she bought him for his birthday on July 14.

BBNaija Season 6 housemates completely shut down their Saturday night live party as they gave the viewers a thrilling show with their dance skills and unbeatable vibe on September 18.

Despite the exciting cash-attached tasks for the housemates this week, some housemates lost more than just tasks. They lost their love interest too. Case in point, Yousef lost everybody’s babe to house ‘whore’ Cross.

Some housemates may need to say their goodbyes to the mouthwatering 90 million winning price and they are up for possible eviction.

Angle, Saskay, Emmanuel, Yousef, and Nini were nominated for possible eviction, however, Nini won the veto power and swapped herself for Cross.

Cross and Nini detastefully gave each other a peace of their mind as they exchanged unpleasant words during their daily chores.

Whitemoney emerged as the Head of House for the week and proceeded to share the honorable HOH lounge with his chosen deputy Queen.

Big brother penalised Nini and Saga for whispering and rewarded Emmanuel and Liquorose for successfully completing a hard prank.
