Amid the Trump administration’s intensified crackdown on migrants, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents have captured and deported Prince David Nwabueze.

A statement by the DHS on Tuesday listed Mr Nwabueze among the worst illegal aliens who have been removed to third countries.

Mr Nwabueze’s “criminal history includes convictions for assault causing bodily injury to a family member, aggravated robbery, unauthorised use of vehicle, evading arrest, and marijuana possession in Texas,” the DHS said.

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said, “Thanks to these third-country agreements, we have been able to deport some of the worst criminal illegal aliens from the United States, including those who are so barbaric that even their home countries won’t take them back, such as murderers, paedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers.”

He added, “For far too long, illegal aliens ordered removed by a judge have avoided deportation simply because DHS had no place to send them. Through engaging in fully legal third-country removals, the days of avoiding deportation are over. We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to make America safe again.”

Mr Mullin added that the Trump Administration “will never apologise for putting the American people first and deporting dangerous criminals from our country. America is no longer a safe haven for the world’s criminals.”

Since last year, Mr Trump’s government has pushed to deport migrants to third countries, signing agreements with Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan and Eswatini to accept deportees from the United States.
