3SC beat Abia Warriors 4-1 in NPFL Matchday 11 clash

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Sunday defeated Abia Warriors FC 4-1 in a Matchday 11 fixture of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The encounter, played at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, saw the hosts dominate proceedings to secure a convincing victory.
3SC took an early lead in the fourth minute through Damilola Akinola, who beat the Abia Warriors goalkeeper with a well-placed effort.
The hosts maintained their dominance and doubled their advantage in the 41st minute through Sodiq Ibrahim.
Ibrahim completed his brace deep into first-half added time to give 3SC a commanding 3-0 lead at the break.
Abia Warriors returned for the second half with renewed determination and reduced the deficit in the 80th minute to make it 3-1.
However, Issa Yusuf put the result beyond doubt when he scored 3SC’s fourth goal in the 88th minute.
The victory represents a significant boost for the Ibadan-based side, which has struggled for consistency this season.
The result lifted 3SC to 10th position on the NPFL table with 15 points from 11 matches.
