The chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Bichi, has met with APC lawmakers and 40 candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.

The meeting aimed to strategise to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and Kano Governor Abba Yusuf.

Speaking on Monday in Kano, Mr Bichi said the meeting focused on coordinating campaign programmes to ensure the APC’s success at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

Mr Bichi, who represents the Bichi Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, said the gathering discussed crucial political issues to strengthen collaboration among party stakeholders ahead of the polls.

The lawmaker said the move would help deliver the state to the APC at all levels during the elections.

“I had the honour of convening a strategic meeting with all APC State Assembly members and 40 candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections at my office in Bichi,” he said.

Mr Bichi expressed appreciation to the Kano Assembly speaker, Jibril Ismail-Falgore, who led the state lawmakers, as well as other participants, for honouring the invitation.

“I appreciate the speaker and all members for honouring the invitation. Unity is our strength, and together we will deliver victory. In-Sha-Allah,” he said.

He further stressed the need for unity among party members to achieve the desired political objectives.
