Tinubu accuses Atiku of using public funds to build university

President Bola Tinubu has accused former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of using public funds to establish his university while in office, questioning the source of his wealth.
Mr Tinubu made the allegation on Saturday at his presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he criticised his major political challenger.
“Those people talking of hunger, I’m cleaning the mess they created. Atiku was one of them,” Mr Tinubu said.
Questioning Mr Abubakar’s source of wealth, Mr Tinubu said: “Ask him how he built a university while in office as vice president in charge of our economy. Who built the university for him? It’s your money. A man without moral integrity and ethics.”
Mr Abubakar was yet to respond to the allegation as of the time of filing this report. His spokesperson, Phrank Shaibu, had been contacted for comment.
