Senegalese striker Sadio Mane and Egyptian star Mo Salah put up brilliant performances as Liverpool Tuesday night trashed Porto FC 5-1 in the UEFA Champions League group stage game.

The six-goal thriller saw Salah and Brazilian star Firmino net a brace while Mane scored one goal.

Salah opened the scoring for Liverpool at Estádio do Dragão 18 minutes into the game, while Mane doubled Liverpool’s lead in the 45th minute.

Salah’s second goal made it 3 for Liverpool, giving the visiting English side a comfortable lead.

Taremi got a consolation goal for the home side in the 74th minute, but Firmino increased the goal margin, scoring in the 77th and 81st minutes.

With a maximum of 6 points from two games, Liverpool is leading Group B. Atletico Madrid comes second in the group with 4 points in two games.
