Nigerian artist Davido reconnected with his ex-girlfriend Chioma Rowland at their son Ifeanyi’s birthday party.

Footage from the luxurious event held on October 23, in Lagos, showed the duo all smiles as they celebrated their son’s second year birthday in grand style.

It was the first time the duo will be spotted in the same location since their shocking break up earlier in the year.

Although the reason for their separation is yet to be clarified, Davido has been spotted publicly with other potential love interests since the break up.

Other celebrities like Tiwa Savage, B Red and members of the DMW crew were in attendance at the glamorous event.

Over the week, Grammy-winning artist Wizkid, shockingly revealed that Canadian superstar Justin Bieber reached out to him for a collaboration in rave making “Essence” remix.

In an interview with Complex, Wizkid said, “He [Justin] reached out to me and he loved the record. He sent the verse and it was just fire.”

The widely recognised vibe anthem “Essence” was released in 2020 as one of the tracks on Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” album.

Asides subsequently charting the Billboard top 100 successfully since July, Essence has also gone platinum in the United States.

Wizkid proceeded to urge fans to expect more ongoing collaborations with Justin Bieber.

“We got some more music together as well,” he added.

Hit song “Love Nwantiti” by Nigerian singer Ckay has now ranked number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This is besides being the number one song on Shazam’s global charts and topping other reputable music charts worldwide.

Love Nwantiti was on No 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 a week earlier.
