NFF appoints Portuguese Peseiro as Super Eagles coach
Former Porto manager Jose Peseiro has been appointed as the new head coach of the Nigerian senior men’s national football team, Super Eagles.
A post on Super Eagles’ official handle says Mr Peseiro will however not take charge of the Eagles until after the African Cup of Nations, AFCON, starting on January 9.
Coach Austin Eguavoen was appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation weeks ago in an intern role would lead the Super Eagles to the continent’s biggest football mundial.
