Wizkid announces collabo with Asa

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Wizkid on February 21 announced via his Twitter page that he’ll be collaborating with singer Asa.
“ASA x BIG WIZ
” the star tweeted without further details.
The announcement has fans anticipating the track as Asa will be featuring Wizkid in the song ‘IDG’, which is one of the songs in the artiste’s new -10 track-album ‘V’ that would be released on February 25, 2022.
In a video that was widely circulated on social media, both stars linked up in 2021, following Wizkid Grammy win for his collaboration on Beyoncé’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’.
It hasn’t always been rosy between the two artistes. In 2015, there were rumours of Asa snubbing Wizkid after the Ojuelegba crooner stated his interest in collaborating with her in a tweet saying “Yo Asa has to be the only one I want to work with so bad! Love love her”.
Asa ignored the tweet, but instead promoted a video of her new song ‘Satan be gone’, leaving fans speculating that the message might have been directed at Wizkid.
