Kim Kardashian legally divorces Kanye West

American socialite Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have parted ways officially.
The reality show star, who filed for a divorce months ago, virtually appeared before a court in Los Angeles on Wednesday to formally finalise her divorce with Kanye.
According to court documents, the “Keeping up the Kardashian” star said “she very much desired to be single.”
Rapper Kanye, who has continuously countered his separation from Kim in public, was not present during the court separation proceedings but was represented by his lawyer. There was no objection to Kim’s request from Kanye’s representative.
“I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so,” Kim said.
“I believe that the court terminating our marital status will help Kanye to accept that our marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist us in peacefully co-parenting our children,” she added.
The duo who got married in 2014 share four kids.
A few days ago, Kanye’s new relationship with American actress Julia Fox was officially called off. However, Kim seems to have moved on with her new love interest Pete Davison.
