FRSC warns Christians against reckless driving at Easter

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has enjoined Christians to drive cautiously as they celebrate Easter.
The Ogun Sector Commander of the Corps, Ahmed Umar, gave the warning while facilitating with Christians on Sunday in Ota, Ogun.
“I wish them compliments of the season and a hitch-free Easter celebration,” he said.
The FRSC boss further implored them to avoid drunk driving, and plan their return journeys to their various destinations in order not to be in a hurry to get home, which sometimes resulted in crashes.
Mr Umar advised all Christian faithful to respect all traffic rules and regulations, irrespective of whether some other road users were not observing them while on the roads.
The sector commander appealed to the people to cooperate with FRSC personnel as the purpose of being on the highways was to prevent road crashes.
He reiterated the commitment of the Corps, especially during and after Easter to render prompt emergency and recovery services in case road crashes occurred.
