AFCON 2023 Qualifiers: Nigeria to face Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe in Group A of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will play Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe in Group A of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers to book a ticket to African football’s showpiece event billed to be hosted by Ivory Coast.

The draw was made in South Africa on Tuesday. It was led by the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) director of competitions Samson Adamu, alongside former South African defender Lucas Radebe and Salomon Kalou of Ivory Coast.

The 2023 edition of the AFCON will feature 32 teams. The qualifiers kick off in June.
