Singer Seyi Shay welcomes baby girl

Nigerian artiste Seyi Shay has welcomed a baby girl with her fiancé.
The star, who has been very open about her pregnancy and shared the journey on social media, finally welcomed her baby girl on Friday April 22.
Announcing the birth of the baby on Instagram, Seyi Shay said “The Eagle has landed. What a journey it’s been! Read all about it @blanckdigital Link in their bio!! Thank you all for your well wishes. We love you.”
The singer graced the covers of Lifestyle magazine ‘Blanck’, where she delved in-depth on her pregnancy, fiancé, music, industry feuds, navigating the ups and downs, and her journey towards self-acceptance.
“I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, and I know I’m still on a journey, so, if this is just the middle, I’m grateful for the journey and looking forward to the future. I’m happy that I’m still progressing,” she said.
The 36-year-old star revealed her baby bump via YouTube on February 11, and has ever since been open and vulnerable about the journey.
In the first episode of her “Seyi’s Pregnancy Diary”, she opened up about her fears of getting back to the music scene after her pregnancy.
“I am definitely insecure about so many things, like my career now, probably more than anything… not being able to work, having to postpone my show in London, not being able to do many gigs at all, even through December, it really just kinda got me down, crying.
“I’m just worried that I won’t be able to snap back into my artiste life as soon and as quickly as I would like. It’s so scary and I just get so frustrated because I know it’s a choice that I made and I had to have known that this would be one of the things that would happen.
“My hormones have got me scared that maybe my fans won’t be there when I come back to really just work again or maybe my body won’t get back into shape on time,” she said.
