Nwakaeme’s Trabzonspor set to clinch Turkish Super Lig

Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme could be a Turkish champion if his club Trabzonspor triumph in today’s match against Antalyaspor.
The match in hand could end 38-year Super Lig drought for one of the most decorated Turkish side.
Having previously won six league titles, the side needs two points to clinch the seventh.
A win against eighth placed Antalyaspor would guarantee that with four games to spare.
Nwakaeme, 33, is struggling to be fit for the all important match after playing a key role for his club all season.
The Nigerian striker has scored 11 goals while providing 10 assist in the league so far.
Having returned to training on Thursday after a minor injury, the Number 9 man is expected to be part of the starting line up for his side on Saturday.
The team coach, Abdullah Avcı, has hinted that the left winger will have to wait till the early hours of the matchday to ascertain if he’ll be in the starting line up.
