According to NBS, food inflation in September increased to 23.12 per cent, its highest level in nearly 17 years, while core inflation increased to 17.2 per cent.

“We plan to finance the deficit mainly by new borrowings totalling N8.80 trillion, N206.18 billion from privatisation proceeds, and N1.77 billion drawdowns on bilateral.”
