Mr Mutfwang had imposed curfew on the LGA after a violent attack on residents of Angwan Rukuba, which left about 28 residents dead.
Mr Ida’s appointment was contained in a statement on Monday by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.

The cleric spoke shortly after a Palm Sunday Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Akure.
Mr Abayomi said, “We were able to rescue the victims and we are on the trail of the perpetrators.”
