The prosecution urged the court to reject the defence’s arguments and require Mr Emefiele to enter his defence.
The suspects were identified as Aghogho Okpogbodu (51), Moses Exist (48) and Benjamin Owah (49).
Mr Danja said the troops received a distress call about the activities of terrorists on Friday.

The corps members were kidnapped along the Owerri-Onitsha road in Imo State.

The acting spokesperson said the incident occurred on Sunday while the troops were on routine patrol.
