Badagry ready to deliver victory for Tinubu, Hamzat in 2027: APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Badagry, Samuel Ajose, says the council will deliver victory for President Bola Tinubu, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other party candidates in 2027.
Mr Ajose gave the assurance in an interview on Sunday in Lagos.
He said the people of Badagry remained committed to the APC’s ideals and progressive philosophy.
Mr Ajose added that the party had continued to demonstrate capacity for purposeful leadership and development.
According to him, the support for Mr Tinubu and other APC candidates in the area is rooted in the party’s development programmes and its commitment to improving the welfare of Nigerians.
“Badagry is a stronghold of progressive politics, and our people understand the importance of continuity in governance.
“We will mobilise massively to ensure that President Tinubu, Dr Hamzat and other APC candidates receive overwhelming support in the 2027 general elections,” he said.
Mr Ajose said APC leaders and members in Badagry would intensify grassroots mobilisation and sensitisation to ensure that eligible voters understood the importance of participating actively in the electoral process.
He said that the party would take its campaign and mobilisation efforts to communities, wards and polling units across Badagry division.
“We will not take any vote for granted. We will continue to engage our people at the grassroots and enlighten them on the achievements and programmes of the APC.
“Our target is to ensure massive voter turnout and a resounding victory for all our candidates in 2027,” Mr Ajose said.
The APC chieftain urged residents to remain peaceful and avoid acts that could cause division.
He said that political activities should be conducted in an atmosphere of tolerance and mutual respect.
He added that the party would continue to promote unity among its members and supporters, irrespective of their ethnic, religious or social backgrounds.
“Politics should be about service, development and the welfare of the people. We must not allow political differences to divide us or threaten the peace that we enjoy in Badagry and Lagos State.
“We are one people, and our collective interest must remain the progress and development of our communities,” he said.
Mr Ajose called on young people in Badagry to participate actively in the political process and support leaders who would promote good governance, youth empowerment and sustainable development.
“Young people constitute a major force in the electoral process and must be adequately mobilised to contribute positively to the future of the country.
“Our youths are critical stakeholders in the future of Nigeria. They must not only participate during elections but should also become actively involved in governance and community development.
“We are confident that the youths of Badagry will play a significant role in ensuring victory for the APC in 2027,” Mr Ajose said.
He expressed confidence that the APC would remain the people’s preferred party.
He added that the party’s leadership and development-oriented policies would further strengthen its support base ahead of the elections.
Mr Ajose urged party members to remain united and work collectively toward the APC’s success.
“With unity, dedication and effective mobilisation, we are confident that Badagry will deliver massive votes for President Tinubu, Dr Hamzat and every other APC candidate in the 2027 elections.
“The APC has a strong structure and committed members, and we will work tirelessly to ensure that our party records another historic victory,” he said.
