E-commerce giant Amazon to hit $162 billion in revenue in 2022

The worlds largest eCommerce Amazon is set to hit over $162 billion in revenue in 2022.
The net sales of Amazon’s marketplace is being anticipated to exceed further with $16 billion by next year, rising to over $162 billion.
According to StockApp.com, this follows the massive growth over the past two years.
It’s being instigated that the COVID-19 pandemic may have played a significant role in boosting Amazon’s sales and revenue growth in general.
Before the pandemic, eCommerce net sales usually increases with over $10 billion yearly, although it tripled to reach over $120.9 billion in 2020 from $86 billion in 2019.
In 2020 alone, Amazon sellers reportedly sold over $300 billion worth of goods.
According to the Future Shopper Report, 48 per cent of shoppers worldwide chose Amazon as their favorite shopping platform while another 37 per cent preferred the platform for buying toys and 29 per cent for “tech purchases”.
Although the giant retail company has various online stores like amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, and amazon.fr, statistics have shown that the United States remains its largest market.
