The Enugu State government has launched an interactive website to showcase community and grassroots development projects, including amenities and infrastructure.

Monday Ani, general manager of the Enugu State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), unveiled the official website in Enugu.

Mr Ani said the website would make it easier for the general public to access vital information about CSDA activities.

According to him, CSDA is a state government-funded agency mandated to execute community and grassroots Intervention projects, largely benefiting the poor and vulnerable.

He said CSDA is currently carrying out the World Bank’s Nigerian Community Action Resilience and Economic Stimuli (NG-CARES) programmes across communities in the state.

“The website, with the official page name – csda.en.gov.ng – has special unique features which include a digital portal and statewide project visibility and transparency.

“Other features include interactive project mapping and geographic visibility; LGA and ward-level project exploration and project information, images and community visibility, among others,” he said.

Mr Ani said the features align with the agency’s core values.

He said residents needed to visit the site to find vital information about the agency and its operational procedures.

“Residents should visit the website to know what His Excellency, Gov. Peter Mbah, has done and is still doing for the communities of Enugu State, especially the rural, through the agency,” he said.

He further said that the operation 2.0 of NG-CARES would be more beneficial to the communities.

The general manager urged the public to visit the website for vital information and procedures on the agency’s activities.
