Ibrahim Babagida’s autobiography should be titled “Journey in Criminality, says Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, human rights activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, said the just-launched autobiography of former military ruler Ibrahim Babangida should be titled “Journey in Criminality” instead of its real title.
Titled “Journey in Service”, Mr Babangida launched his autobiography on Thursday in Abuja. During the launch, Mr Babangida admitted that Moshood Abiola won the June 12, 1993 presidential election, which he annulled.
“A Journey in Criminality — This is a better title!” Mr Sowore said, posting the cover of Mr Babangida’s autobiography with “Criminality” imposed over the word “Service” in the title.
Mr Sowore was the president of the University of Lagos Student Union Government when Mr Babangida annulled the June 12 election.
In another Facebook post, Mr Sowore said, “Babangida and co-conspirators deserve life imprisonment without parole following a thorough treason trial.”
Mr Babangida’s autobiography has dominated political debates since its launch on Thursday
