Indonesian president dismisses chief of staff after arrest in wiretapping case

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto dismissed his chief of staff, Listyo Sigit Prabowo, on Wednesday.
The arrest happened a day after the former national police chief was arrested in a wiretapping investigation, authorities said.
Mr Listyo and two other senior police officers were arrested on suspicion of tapping the phones of the president, cabinet ministers and others.
Presidential spokesperson Prasetyo Hadi told reporters that the alleged wiretapping could amount to treason and threaten national security.
