Sorba Thomas unharmed after car crash near training ground, say Hull City 

The 27-year-old’s grey Land Rover Defender was pictured upturned on its roof with broken windows.

English Premier League club Hull City on Friday said winger Sorba Thomas, walked out unharmed from a car crash close to its training ground at Millhouse Woods Lane in the village of Cottingham, East Riding of Yorkshire.

The 27-year-old’s grey Land Rover Defender was pictured upturned on its roof with broken windows.

The club in a statement said, “Hull City is relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed following a road traffic accident near to ⁠⁠the club’s Cottingham training ⁠⁠ground.

“The club is aware of images of ⁠⁠Sorba’s car circulating on social media and ⁠⁠can reassure supporters ⁠⁠that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed.”

Humberside Police stated that emergency services were still at the crash scene and urged people to avoid the area

The Wales international, who joined the newly promoted Tigers from second-tier Championship side Stoke City on transfer deadline day earlier in September, has made two appearances out of three games for Hull City, ‌‌who currently sit third on the league table.
