A businessman and football enthusiast, Abel Okamkpa, urged Nigerians to focus on ensuring that the country qualifies for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
Nigeria is now the third-best team in Africa, behind AFCON finalists Senegal, ranked 12th globally, and Morocco, ranked 8th globally.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Thursday secured qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
He said Moroccan match officials have been appointed for the game.
Tuesday’s match will kick off at 3:00 p.m. Rwanda time (2:00 p.m. Nigeria time).
He said the players are expected in Uyo on Monday to begin preparations.
