Mr Benjamin said the first session of the examination for the day would start at 8:00 a.m.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said of the 336,845 who were eventually scheduled, 21,082 were absent.
The exam body said affected candidates will have to retake their exams from May 16.
Mr Oloyede said, “I apologise for the trauma caused the candidates and I take full responsibility for this.’’
Mr Oloyede maintained that despite challenges, the 2025 UTME had been hailed as one of the most successful in recent years.
