A 32-year-old man, Sodiq Oyerinde, was on Tuesday, charged before an Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun, for stealing a motorcycle valued at N400,000.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the changes preferred against him.
The magistrate told the court that the defendant committed the offences sometime in 2024.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The defendant, who lives at Unguwar Sarki, Kaduna, is charged with an “unnatural” offence.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him by the police.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
Mr Lamidi is standing trial on a charge of stealing. He pleaded not guilty.
He said the police intercepted and arrested the suspect while his accomplices escaped.
The police spokesman said that the team succeeded in neutralising the suspect.
