The army chief noted that many personnel remained unaccommodated, a situation he warned would worsen without urgent intervention.

The lawmaker said the bill aimed to enfranchise INEC officials, security personnel, journalists, and observers denied the opportunity to vote on election day.
The COAS noted that the nation in recent years faced unprecedented security challenges arising from threats of terrorism and banditry.
Chairman of the forum, Abdulaziz Yar’adua, made the call in a statement on Thursday.
Mr Tinubu, on Sunday evening, stressed that any attack on members of Nigeria’s armed forces is a direct attack on the nation.
He said he was committed to streamlining activities within the forum.
